David Royal
Funeral Director & Owner
David is a licensed Funeral Director with over 30 years of experience, after completing his studies at West Texas State University in Amarillo, TX, and Mortuary College in Dallas. He is a 32-degree Mason and a member of the East Palestine Rotary Club. David also works as an auxiliary police officer in Salem. Away from work, he enjoys working on his small farm where his family raises various animals and maintains a small garden. He and his family also like to camp at the various state parks and attend car shows. He is married to Kattie, who is a licensed Funeral Director and holds a degree in Special Education from Texas A&M. They have four adult children and a grandson.

Kaitlyn is the daughter of David and Kattie Royal. She assists in setting up for funeral services, light housekeeping, office work, running errands, and working calling hours. A 2020 graduate of South Range High School, she is currently attending Kent State and is a Biology major. She hopes to become a Physician Assistant upon completion of her coursework.
