East Palestine-

Wayne A. Kelvington, 78, a longtime resident of East Palestine, passed away April 4, 2019 at the Covington Community Campus.

Wayne was born March 30, 1941 in Youngstown, son of the late Raymond and Frances Wollam Kelvington.

He was worked as a Machinist for LW Nash until it's closing and then Gormack in North Lima until his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed working on cars and camping.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia (Sansenbaugher), whom he married February 12, 1960. He is also survived by two sons, Richard (Kathy) Kelvington of Waldorf, MD and Ron (Jenni) Kelvington of East Palestine; two daughters, Brenda (Tom) Johnson of East Palestine, Lisa (Jeff) Boyd of Clayton, NC; brother, Raymond (Becky) Kelvington; sister, Judith (Ken) Hendrick; seven grandchildren, Alyssa and Leighann Kelvington, Tom and Kristen Johnson and Elizabeth Anderson, Kaci and Eric Boyd; as well as two great grandchildren, Madisyn and Zane Anderson.

Besides his parents, Wayne is all preceded in death by a sister Janet Lewis.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will be held Saturday 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Mark McTrustry officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
