East Palestine-

Wanda L. Carey, 82, passed away July 12, 2026, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

She was born July 19, 1943, in Frederick, MD, daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Witzell) Tobery.

Wanda was a longtime resident of East Palestine and worked as a homemaker taking care of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by three children, Michelle (Jeff) Teague of Gray Court, SC, Tim Carey of East Palestine, Brandy Clevenger of Leetonia; eight grandchildren, Ashley (AJ) Robinson, Timmy Carey, Jr., Ava Brothers, Wyatt Brothers, Miyha Brothers, Chyann Carey, Michael Staton and John Gillespie; two great grandchildren, Conner and Colson Robinson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jummy, Jr. and Jerry Tobrey.

Wanda was loved by all of her family and friends.

Following Wanda's wishes, no services will be observed at this time.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
