Rogers-

Valerie M. Bowers, 33, a lifelong resident of Rogers, passed away October 14, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.

Valerie was born February 28, 1988 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of the late Charles and Paula Cope Bowers.

She had attended Beaver Local Schools and enjoyed playing softball. Valerie also loved the outdoors, fishing and being around people, most especially her children.

Valerie is survived by two children, Michael Craig and Kea Bowers; sister, Danielle Bowers; two brothers, Johnny Kearns and Chucky Bowers; uncle, Brad Cope; nephews, Trevor and Zachary and many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Paula Bowers; maternal grandparents, Albert and Norma Cusick Cope; paternal grandmother, Delores Bowers; brother, Timmy Bowers; aunt, Dolly Jack and her uncle, Chuck Cope.

The family will announce a celebration of Valerie's life at a later date.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
