New Waterford-

Tim E. McCurdy, 68, passed away at his home on November 26, 2025, with family by his side.

Tim was born July 11, 1957, in Youngstown, son of the late Jack and Sally McCurdy.

Tim was a lifelong resident of New Waterford, and a 1975 graduate of Crestview High School. He was a proud US Army veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne. Tim worked as an industrial mechanic for City Machine and Technology in Youngstown for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and most especially spending time with his family.

Tim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynne Foltz McCurdy; four children, Mark (Stacie) McCurdy, Aaron McCurdy, Jessica (Albert Otero) Crocker, Melissa (Quinn) Colella; two brothers, Alan McCurdy and Steven (Pat) Crowl; two sisters, Vicki (Jerry) Plunkett and Jackie (Bob) Merryman as well as eight grandchildren, Blaine, Kaiden, Chase, Carson, Cara, Bree, Margo and Faye.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sally McCurdy, as well as his mother that raised him, Shirley McGath McCurdy and two brothers, Jeff and Eddie McCurdy.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4-6 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. No other services will be observed.
