Thomas L. Seiter, 89, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away on October 20, 2024, at Caprice Healthcare in North Lima. Born on July 12, 1935, in East Palestine, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Clementine Ashbaugh Seiter.

Tom was a proud graduate of East Palestine High School and a dedicated supporter of bulldog sports. He served his country as a veteran of the US Army, stationed at Ft. Ord, CA. His career included work at Adamson Tank, various banking establishments throughout Columbiana County, and ownership of T&J Office Products. He also worked as a transporter for Columbiana Cadillac. Tom was actively involved in the East Palestine Kiwanis and played a key role in organizing the holiday parades.

He was an enthusiastic follower of all Cleveland sports teams, the Buckeyes, and the Bowling Green State University Falcons. Tom cherished traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Jim) Simon of Hudson, MI; his son, Thomas "Tim" (Kelly) Seiter, Jr. of Boardman; his brothers, David (Pam) Seiter and Bill (Mary Ellen) Seiter; his sisters, Nancy Schmidt, Marge (Allen) Douglas, Sue (Richard) Roush, and Deb (Ed) Murdock; his grandchildren, Bryan (Meg) Simon, Blake (Sarah) Simon, and Tanner Seiter; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Joyce, his beloved wife of 61 years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, officiated by Cindy Figley, followed by interment at Glenview Cemetery.
