Thomas Randall "Randy" Hughes, 72, of Negley, Ohio, born March 25, 1954, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Rev. Thomas Hughes and Ruth Hughes, passed away peacefully May 18, 2026, surrounded by family at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Randy worked for the City of Columbiana and Community Action before becoming the owner and operator of a towing and auto wrecking business. He had a passion for building cars, racing, fishing, gardening, and creating things with his hands. He was known for his generous heart and for always making sure those he loved were cared for.

A devoted father, grandfather, and friend to all, Randy will be remembered for his unmatched storytelling and one-of-a-kind laugh. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, humor, and unconditional love.

He is survived by his children, Holly Hughes (Josh Hoon) of East Palestine, Jason Crawford (Ginger Crawford) of Negley, Thomas Hughes II of Negley, Britney Hughes of Negley, and Corey Evans of Negley, along with many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved sisters, Cindy Davis, Nancy Hauenstein, and Vickie Bigley.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2025, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Clark officiating.
