Susan L. Davis, 81, a longtime resident of Rogers, passed away April 15, 2023 at her home with family by her side following a lengthy illness.

Susan was born July 2, 1941 in Shrewsberry, WV, daughter of the late Ivan and Lona Lyons Hall.

She was a member of the Union Ridge Bible Baptist Church in Rogers and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Susan is survived by two sons, Paul (Michelle) Davis of Rogers, Danny (Janet) Davis of Lisbon; two daughters, Tammy (Frank) Shingleton of Rogers, Renee (Dave) Thompson of New Waterford; sister, Dreama Truman of West Virginia; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Davis in 2017, two brothers, Brooks and Benny Hall and two sisters, Shirley Fitzwater and Loretta Chapman.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Union Ridge Bible Baptist Church 48995 Carmel Achor Rd. Rogers, OH 44455, with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. A private burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
