Negley-

Shane A. Lester, 41, passed away October 14, 2022, at the Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon following a lengthy illness.

Shane was born March 19, 1981, in Salem, OH.

He has resided in East Liverpool the past several months, having come from Negley. He was a 1999 graduate of East Palestine High School having attended CCCTC.  Shane worked as a truck driver. He was a demolition derby driver and also raced and was a member of the Tri-County Four Wheelers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Shane is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lester of East Liverpool; stepdaughter, Myranda Kile of Boardman; mother, Kathy (Henry) Rucinski of Negley; maternal grandmother, Sandra Pedro of Columbiana; sister, Nicole (Pete) Pyles; stepsister, Holly Patrick of Koppell, PA; niece and nephew, Aubree and Brody.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph "Pap" Pedro January 21, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday October 19, 2022, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 6:00-7:00 PM.  All other services will be private.
