East Palestine-

Scott V. McAleer, 57, passed away December 10, 2025, at the Hospice House in Poland.

Scott was born March 21, 1968, in Woodbury, NJ, son of the late Edward, Jr. and Barbara Sharp McAleer.

Scott has resided in East Palestine for the past eight years, and previously resided in Cumberland County, Maryland. He was of the Episcopal faith. He enjoyed clubbing, scrapping and helping and visiting family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Raeann Duron; two brothers, Bill (Dawn) Hess, Edward (Kim) McAleer, III; two sisters, Susan (Michael) Kellers and Patricia McAleer; nieces and nephews, Austin McAleer, Ashley McAleer, Kyle Kapp, Melissa Cardoso and Jason Haywood as well as great nieces and nephews, Logan, McKenna, Grayson and Griffin.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Michael McAleer.

No public services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
