Sara Knight Armstead, 37, passed away unexpectedly August 10, 2023, at her residence.

Sara was born April 11, 1986, in Miami, FL, daughter of James Knight and Glenda Dole Knight.

She formerly lived in East Palestine and attended Beaver Local and East Palestine Schools. Sara enjoyed gardening, planting and growing spices and spending time with her sons.

Sara is survived by her father, James Knight of Key Largo, FL.; Mother, Glenda Knight of Lisbon; two sons, Xavier and Kyden Armstead; paternal grandmother, Betty Knight of East Palestine; Maternal grandmother, Ellene Dole of Leetonia; two brothers, Nathan (Jaymee) Knight of Lisbon, Aaron Dole of Youngstown and a sister, Stephanie (Nick) Johnston of New Zealand.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Armstead, her paternal grandfather, Jack Knight and maternal grandfather, Keith Dole.

No public services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
