East Palestine-

Sarah "Sally" J. Martin, 65, passed away peacefully at her home March 2, 2021 with her family by her side.

Sally was born July 31, 1955 in Rochester, PA, daughter of the late Harry and Betty Stone McLaughlin.

She has resided in East Palestine since 2016, coming from Enon Valley, PA. Sally was an avid Steelers fan, but most especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sally is survived by a son, Greg Martin of Enon Valley; two daughters, Kim (Ben) Bonazza of Chippewa, Janey (Sam) Bister of East Palestine; five brothers, Butch, Jim, Daniel, John and David McLaughlin; two sisters, Betty Weatherly and Nancy Schroeder. She was affectionately known as Mema to six, Jeremie John, Alayna, Anthony, Kaitlin, Haley and Grace.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Friday March 5, 2021 from 2-4 and 5-7 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A service will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date at Little Beaver Cemetery.
