New Waterford-

Ronald A. Costanzo, 85, a lifelong resident of New Waterford, passed away July 20, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Boardman.

Ron was born September 8, 1938, in New Waterford, OH, son of the late Anthony and Carmel Mancuso Costanzo.

Ron was a graduate of New Waterford High School and was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana. Ron, alongside his wife, owned and operated the Village Dairy Bar as well as many laundromats throughout the area prior to his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janice Mackall Costanzo; two sons, Jim (Denise) Costanzo of Michigan, Bob (Wendy) Costanzo of Pickerington, OH; five siblings, Joanna Seybert, Joe (Mary Jane) Costanzo, Donna Jean Whippo, Shirley Costanzo, Denise Costanzo-Ridinger as well as five grandchildren, Stacey, Anthony, Audrey, Emily and Elisa Costanzo.

A catholic prayer service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the chapel at New Waterford Cemetery with Father Chad Johnson serving as celebrant. A private burial will follow at the New Waterford Cemetery. The family will receive friends just prior and immediately following services.
