East Palestine-

Robert Wilson, 96, a lifelong resident of East Palestine passed away March 27, 2023, at the Hospice House in Poland.

Robert was born January 24, 1927, in East Palestine, son of the late George and Lena Reibe Wilson.

Robert was a 1945 graduate of East Palestine High School and a veteran of the US Army. He worked at Kenmar Furniture in the receiving warehouse and distribution center for a number of years before retirement.

Robert is survived by a son, Glenn Wilson of East Palestine; daughter, Janene (Michael) Charleton of East Palestine; five grandchildren, Chris, Steve and Kevin Wilson as well as Joshua and Brittney Charleton; five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 69 years, Glenna Wilson in 2021; two brothers, Charlie Wilson and Kenneth "Ted" Wilson and three sisters, Elizabeth "Babe" Early, Pearl Liddle and Dorothy Buchanon.

The family will receive friends Friday March 31, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A private burial will be held at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. No other services will be observed.
