Robert L. and Daisy M. Hume passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Savannah, Georgia. They were returning to Ohio from Dade City, FL where they lived part of the year. Their beloved pets, Tiko & Molly, were lost as well.

Bob was born February 7, 1934 in Milton, MA. A son of the late Edward Lyman and Mary Hickey-Hume. Prior to his retirement he had worked in management.

Daisy "Dee" was born June 28, 1937 in Salem, OH. A daughter of the late Milan "Michael" and Mildred Malic-Milinkovich.

Bob and Dee were married for forty-two years and relocated from the New England area back to East Palestine 30 years ago. They were blessed to enjoy their winter months in Florida during their retirement, and when they were home in Ohio they both enjoyed spending time with their granddaughters, Lindsay N. and Kali R. George, who'd walk across the yard from their Dad's, Barry L. George. They also enjoyed Barry's company as their generous next door neighbor, who was always there for them.

Bob was a Master Mason for fifty-seven years in Westwood, MA. He loved Lake Winnipesauke and the New England areas, as well as camping. Dee enjoyed her flower gardening and was an avid bingo player. She loved to feed whoever stopped by to visit and she was a strong woman full of grace and dignity. Together they enjoyed time with each other, their friends, and family.

Bob was an only child and Daisy is survived by two sisters: Helen Halverstadt-Smith, Sebring, OH and Mary Samberson, Wellsville, OH. Together they are survived by their "blended" family, three sons:  James L Hume - NH, Jack L Dunham Jr - OH, Benjamin T. Hume - FL, one daughter, Tammy L. George - OH. They also are survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. They were preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa "Tess" L. Dunham-Jackson and two sons, John E. Hume and David S. Hume.

A Memorial Service for both Bob and Dee will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, 6086 State Route 7, New Waterford, OH.
