Robert R. Coder, Jr., 81, passed away August 5, 2025, at the Hospice House in Poland.

Robert was born August 18, 1943, in Monongahela, PA, son of the late Robert Coder, Sr. and Anna G. (Boozer) Coder.

He was a longtime resident of Columbiana County, a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, the New Waterford Eagles and the East Palestine Moose Lodge. Robert was co-owner of Cornerstone Insurance Agency in East Palestine, along with his wife for 45 years. He also taught insurance classes for new as well as experienced agents throughout the state for many years.

Robert is survived by a son RC (Jamie) Coder of Columbiana; daughter, Amy Coder of Wooster; granddaughter, MacKenzie Coder; sister, Linda (William) McGarvey of Williamsport, PA; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends as well as his faithful companion, his dog Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Linda Jo Coder in 2023.

Following Robert's wishes, no public services will be announced at this time.
