East Palestine-

Richard H. "Pickles" Berresford, 89, passed away February 4, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

He was born November 12, 1930 in Salem, OH, son of the late Raymond and Evelyn Howard Berresford.

Richard was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed as a Cutter for Kenmar, Cherry Hill and Franklin Furniture. He was a member of East Palestine Church of Christ, the East Palestine Eagles # 1506, a member of the Masonic Lodge and was an avid golfer.

Richard is survived by his cousins, Mickey Young and Marcia VanFossan, as well as his beloved dog, Bear.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 27 years, Virginia Robbins in 1992.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and in order to keep his extended family and friends safe, no services will be held at this time. A private burial was held at Glenview Cemetery.
