East Palestine-

Rhonda L. Albert, 72, passed away May 31, 2026, at the Hospice House in Poland.

She was born December 28, 1953, in Salem, OH, daughter of the late James and Dolores (Smith) Grappo.

Rhonda was a lifelong resident of East Palestine and a graduate of East Palestine High School. She worked for 30 years as an aide for East Palestine schools prior to her retirement. Rhonda served on the board for the East Palestine Friends of the Library and was a presiding judge of Columbiana County Board of Elections.

She is survived by one daughter, a son, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending at this time.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
