Raymond A. Kelvington, 70, passed away February 6, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

Ray was born August 6, 1953, in Salem, OH, son of the late Raymond and Frances Wollam Kelvington.

He was a longtime resident of Negley and a graduate of East Palestine High School. Ray previously worked at Col-Pump in Columbiana as a Materials Manager for a number of years. He was an avid Steelers fan, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson Nate.

Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years, Becky (King) Kelvington; a daughter Jessica Kelvington and her husband Matthew Hale of Portage, MI; a sister, Judy (Ken) Hendricks of Beaver Creek, OH; a grandson, Nate Kraus and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wayne Kelvington and a sister, Janet Lewis.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Cindy Figley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 5:00-6:00 PM. A private burial will take place at a later date at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
