Phyllis Rose Annico, who would have turned 100 years old on June 19, 2018, went to her heavenly home on June 3rd, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center. Previous to that, she had resided at Windsor Estates Assisted Living for five years.

Phyllis was born June 19, 1918, in New Waterford, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fiore and Angela (Guzza) DePillo. She came from a family of seven children, which included three brothers, Charles, Joseph, and Bruno; and three sisters, Julia, Antoinette, and Patty, all of whom are deceased.  Also preceding her in death were a son, Gary Gene Annico; her grandson, Bradley A. Hogue; and son-in-law, Marion Riley.

On October 17, 1932, she married her husband, Albert A. Annico.  Mr. Annico passed away November 22, 1985, after 53 years of marriage.  They lived the majority of their lives in Unity Township.  Phyllis was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, collecting all types of recipes to try, and planting and raising beautiful flowers. Her greatest love was for her family.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Dorothy M. Riley of Green Valley, Arizona; and a son, Terry J. Annico (Mary Lou Brady) of Boardman, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brenda L. Cruse, and Anthony Riley (Lynne) both of Tuscon, Arizona; Amy Annico Boyle (Mick) of Cleveland, Ohio; and Casey Annico (Alyssa) of Poland, Ohio. She also leaves to honor her memory, four great grandchildren, Anthony Hogue, Jennifer Hogue Patrone (Kevin), Angelina Cruse, and Amanda Cruse Starits; five great-great grandchildren, Halle Cruse, Austin, Chase and Hayden Patrone, and Morgan and Kamryn Starits.

Also included in those to be remembered are a step-granddaughter, Margaret Pappada (Nick); and step-grandson, Marion David Riley, Sonny and Betty Lou Gribben, Alice Haldiman and Laura Beight.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, June 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine, Ohio.  A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Robert Quaintance of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7th, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery in East Palestine, Ohio.

The family extends a special thank you to Windsor Estates Assisted Living, Masternick Memorial Healthcare, and Hospice of the Valley for the compassion and care shown to Phyllis. A "special" thanks to Brittany and Amber of Masternick's, and Cory of Hospice, who were with Phyllis and the family on Sunday.
