East Palestine-

Patricia E. Johnson, 76, passed away November 21, 2025, at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Boardman following a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born October 27, 1949, in Salem, OH, daughter of the late William and Lois Justison Smith.

She was a lifelong resident of East Palestine and a 1968 graduate of East Palestine High School. Patricia went on to earn her bachelor's in psychology from Kent State University in 1991. She worked as a social worker for CPS in Canton for 20 years before retiring in 2012. Patricia enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time outdoors planting flowers.

Patricia is survived by a son, Don (Deanne) Johnson of East Palestine; a daughter, Jennifer (Dan Phillips) Johnson of Pittsburgh, granddaughter, Kendra Hoover and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lois "Bonnie" Jones.

Following Patricia's wishes, no formal services will be announced. She will be laid to rest privately alongside her parents at Glenview Cemetery in East Palestine.
