East Palestine-

Mike H. Harper, 73, passed away September 29, 2022, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio following a fall at his home.

Mike was born October 16, 1948, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, son of the late Dewayne and Ruby Claypool Harper.

He was a member of the Mt Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Darlington, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of East Palestine High School and received a bachelor's degree from Kent State University.  Mike retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of faithful service.  He was a devoted caregiver to his mother for over 9 years until her passing.

Mike is survived by his brother, Ray (Sharon) Harper of Olmsted Falls; sister, Sally (Michael) Hannum of East Palestine; beloved nieces and nephews, Brenda, Cindy, Janeen, Jeff, Sean, Jason, and Justin; sisters -in-law, Dolly and Vic; special friends and neighbors, Jeff and Billie Townsend and Fran Hillman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Larry Harper.

Following Mike's wishes no services will be observed. He will be laid to rest next to his mother at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
