Michael A. Lewis, 23, of Petersburg, tragically passed away Monday, May 21st, while enjoying the outdoors.

Michael was born October 10, 1994 in Youngstown, a son of Kimberly Kintz Lewis and Roger Lewis and had been a lifelong resident of Petersburg.

Michael was a 2013 graduate of Springfield Local Schools where he had been Captain of the football team and had served as Homecoming King in 2013.  He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time with family and friends.  He easily made friends with his outgoing personality.

Michael is survived by his mother, Kim Lewis of East Palestine; his father, Roger Lewis of Petersburg; his brothers, Jarrod and Ryan Lewis; and the love of his life, Jerrica Massey.  His paternal grandmother, Vera Lewis; his maternal grandparents, Peter (Sharri) Kintz and Barbara Kintz also survive him as does his beloved Bulldog, Rory.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Lewis.

Friends will be received from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home, East Palestine.  No other services will be observed.
