Mary Powers, 87, passed away January 11, 2024 at Salem North Nursing Home.

Mary was born August 3, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana, daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Spain Burch.

Mary had worked for the East End Market prior to her retirement.

Mary is survived by two sons, William E. "Bill" Powers of Pennsylvania, George Powers of Salem; two daughters, Beth Hill of Salem and Marie Johnson of Florida; sister, Lois (Ray) Early; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Powers in 2013.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM. A private burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
