Mary Jane Grossen, 90, of New Waterford, passed way 11:50 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley where she had been a patient.

Mary was born October 30, 1927 in Poland, OH, a daughter of the late William Offenbaker and Mabel Gertrude (Baughman) Bell.  She was raised in Struthers, graduating from Struthers High School, and then moved to New Waterford after marriage where she has resided the past seventy years. She had been employed as a purchasing manager for General Electric prior to her retirement.

Mary was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of New Waterford; a longtime member of Highlands Social Club, and enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family and friends.

Her husband, Marlin Grossen, with whom she celebrated sixty-five years of marriage, preceded her in death on January 11, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harold, Earl and Ray Bell and sisters, Nina Williams and Ruth Whittle.

Mary is survived by two sons, Thomas Grossen of New Waterford and Paul Grossen of Cleveland; two daughters, Joyce (Keith) Keslar and Sandra (Jay) Nunamaker; six grandchildren, Christopher (Michele) Grossen and Amy Grossen both of Madison, IN, Jill (James) Kallas of New Waterford, Timothy (Lindsey) Keslar of Parker, CO, Nathan (Melisa) Nunamaker and Sara Nunamaker (Doug Trosky) all of Columbiana.  She also leaves twelve great grandchildren, Connor Grossen, Grant Grossen, Janice Murray, Emerie Grossen, Julianne Kallas, Samantha Kallas, Tanner Kallas, Brock Kallas, Joshua Keslar, Grace Keslar, Jaxson Nunamaker and Braylon Nunamaker; as well as a sister, Jean (Gene) Hammer.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home, East Palestine and again on Friday, July 6th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in New Waterford with the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Rev. William Wilkins of the church will be officiating. Private burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Zion Lutheran Church of New Waterford.
