Mary B. Dagarin, 96, a resident of East Palestine since 1923, passed away Thursday February 2, 2017 at the Covington Community Campus.
Mary was born November 16, 1920 in Bathgate, Scotland, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Brown Mason.
She has been a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in East Palestine since 1932 and worked as an office manager in her husbands accounting office.
Mary is survived by a step-son, Douglas (Barbara) Dagarin of Northampton, MA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and niecesand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Dagarin in 2007; a brother, Peter Mason and a sister, Elizabeth Stewart.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 Pm at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Deva McQueen officiating. An interment will follow in Glenview Cemetery.
