East Palestine-

Mary C. Buhn, 82, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away May 31, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Mary was born March 20, 1942, in East Palestine, daughter of the late Dale and Evelyn Jordan Hughes.

She was a graduate of East Palestine High School and a member of the East Palestine Moose Lodge. Mary worked for High Comfort as an Upholsterer for 32 years, and prior had worked at Franklin Furniture. She enjoyed feeding the birds and loved nature. Mary also enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by a son Matthew Davis of East Palestine; daughter, Mary (Matthew Compton) Borelli of Canton; daughter-in-law, Michele Davis of East Liverpool; sister, Darla Fanta; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Buhn, Sr., a son and daughter in infancy, Richard and Christine Davis, brother, Dale "Skip" Hughes and a granddaughter, Ashley Pallotta.

A memorial service will be held at Glenview Cemetery and announced at a later date.
