Marvin L. Meek, 79, passed away September 20, 2021, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Marvin was born February 17, 1942, in Fredricktown, OH, son of the late Edwin and Hazel Dyke Meek.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and was among the first graduating class of Beaver Local in 1959. He was a Christian by faith and attended several local churches throughout the years.

Marvin was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for the mining industry for a number of years prior to his retirement five years ago. He enjoyed working around his farm, taking care of his draft horses and riding his tractor.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sally (Hays) Meek; three sons, Timothy Meek and Terry Meek both of Rogers, Jeffrey (Jamie) Meek of Negley; a sister, Connie Artman of Columbiana; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday September 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Mt.Zion Cemetery.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
