East Palestine-

Marcy D. Chidester, 64, passed away May 2, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.

Marcy was born June 19, 1958, in Salem, OH, daughter of the late Roger and Kathryn Beiling Chamberlain.

She was a 1977 graduate of East Palestine High School. Marcy retired from Freshmark Salem after 26 years where she worked as a payroll clerk. When not working, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, watching, and feeding the birds.

Marcy is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Jesse "Pepper, Sr and Nancy Chidester and three brothers, Bruce, Thomas and Craig Chamberlain.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jesse Chidester; two brothers, Lemoin (Michiko) Chamberlain and Keith (Sandy) Chamberlain; two sisters, Dawn (Kern) Brown and Christine (Gregory) Vogel; four sisters-in-law, Sherry, Sharon, Shirley and Shawna; two brothers-in-law, Brett and John as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the East Palestine Moose Lodge.
