East Palestine-

Mabel Padgett, 100, passed away August 25, 2022, at the Christian House in East Palestine.

Mabel was born August 16, 1922, in Aliquippa, PA, daughter of Arthur E. and Gwendolyn Porter King.

Although she resided in East Palestine, she formerly resided in Chippewa for over 40 years prior. Mabel worked as a telephone operator in her early years and then as a homemaker lovingly taking care of her family. She loved taking pictures and traveling. She traveled to 31 states and 23 countries throughout the years but was most proud of her family and grandchildren.

Mabel is survived by four children, Susan (Joseph) Dellavolle of East Palestine, Leroy Padgett of Virginia Beach, VA, Donald (Paula) Padgett and Ronald (Brenda) Padgett both of Victoria, TX; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Padgett; a brother, Arthur King, Jr. and a sister, Gwendolyn Boustead.

Following Mabel's wishes, no services will be observed. A private burial will take place alongside of her husband in Pennsylvania.
