Lonnie L. Betts, 66, passed away January 29, 2025, at his home with family by his side.

Lonnie was born March 28, 1958, in Salem, OH, son of Edwin and Catherine Betts.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1976 graduate of Crestview High School. Lonnie retired from Carpenters Local union #171. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and helping with the grandchildren.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tracy (Hammond) Betts; three sons, Travis (Kathy) Dunn of Canton, Ross Betts of Lisbon, Justin (Maren) Betts of Salem; father, Ed Betts; a brother, Gordon Betts; two sisters, Kimberly Spencer and Kay (Curt) Turney as well as two grandchildren, Luke and Riley Betts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Betts and a grandson, Ryder Betts.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday February 1, 2025, at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Terry Rankin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
