Lois M. Sutherin, 86, passed away May 13, 2022, at the Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehab Center in Beaver Falls.

Lois was born June 1, 1935 in Elkrun Twp, OH, daughter of the late Elvie and Miriam Koch Pike.

She was a 1953 graduate of New Waterford High School and a longtime member of Gods Haven of Rest Church in East Palestine. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning.

Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, Howard E. Sutherin, Sr. ; a son, Howard (Theresa) Sutherin, Jr. of Newnan, GA; three daughters, Bonnie Buhecker of Darlington, PA, Nancy (Rodger) Jones of East Palestine, Brenda (Sammy) Reed of Roanoke Rapids, NC; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, James D. Little III; brother, Edwin Pike and a sister, Eileen Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday evening at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Rev. Russell Pieri and Chaplain Steve Read officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday. A private burial will follow on Tuesday.
