East Palestine-

Linda L. May, 74, passed away unexpectedly, December 4, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born January 13, 1950, in Salem, OH, daughter of Howard and Louise Smith May.

She was a 1968 graduate of East Palestine High School and then went on to earn her bachelor's in education from Ohio State University. Linda taught high school social studies and history for East Palestine Schools for a number of years. Most recently she worked as an OEA Consultant for many years prior to her retirement. She was a proud advocate for the democratic party and enjoyed vacations in Mexico with her friends and loved reading in her spare time.

Linda is survived by her mother, Louise May of East Palestine; two sisters, Vonda (Bill) Martin and Patti (Gary) Linhart all of East Palestine; nieces and nephews, Emily Randolph, Ashley, Bill and Jason Martin and Joshua Linhart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard May.

Following Linda's wishes, a celebration of life will be announced by her family at a later date. No other services will be observed.
