East Palestine-

Larry Oliver Ward, 83, passed away August 10, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian following a brief illness.

Larry was born June 28, 1938 in Salem, OH, son of the late Glenn and Vivian Oliver Ward.

He was a lifelong resident of East Palestine and was a 1956 graduate of East Palestine High School. Following graduation, he went to work for the family business, Ward's Dry Cleaning until his retirement in 2007. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and worked as a Crossing Guard in East Palestine for several years. Larry enjoyed golf and bowling and played on many leagues through the years. He also made many memories with his sons taking fishing trips to Canada.

Larry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Terilyn Ward; two sons, Larry G. Ward of East Palestine and Brad (Dan Strand) Ward of Pittsburgh.

The family will receive friends 11:00 – 1:00 Friday August 13, 2021 at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Glenview Cemetery.
