Kerry L. Pitts, 70, passed away December 9, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

Kerry was born February 24, 1954, in Barnesville, GA, son of the late Robert and Inez Atkinson Pitts.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army, having risen to the rank of Sergeant First Class before retiring in 1991. He honorably served during Vietnam and as well as helped train newly enlisted soldiers for Desert Storm.

Kerry is survived by a son, Todd (Carrie Gaetz) Pitts of Jefferson, MA; daughter, Ginger (Jason Crawford) Pitts of Negley; a brother, David Pitts; three sisters, Robbie Hurt, Linda Salvatore, Tammy Hoffmaster; two grandchildren, Kandel-lee Pitts and Nevaeh Pitts as well as three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie in 2011 and a sister, Sharon Constantino.

A burial with honors will be announced at a later date at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
