Joseph E Ratkovich, Jr, 58, a lifelong resident of East Palestine passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Joe was born July 21, 1962 in Salem, OH, son of the late Joseph and Carol Britton Ratkovich.

He was a 1980 graduate of East Palestine High School and was previously employed at Tube Tech in East Palestine. Joe was an avid deer hunter.

Joe is survived by a sister, Vicki Harvey and several extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Ratkovich in 2018.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A private burial will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
