East Palestine-

John H. Russell, 69, of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly at home December 13, 2023.

John was born August 18, 1954, in Salem, OH, son of the late Edward and Donis Harding Russell.

He retired as an engineer from Vallourec and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. John enjoyed photography, classic cars and steam trains. He loved spending time with his family and most especially his granddaughter.

John is survived by his wife, Wendy Prologo Russell; a daughter, Ashley (Curtis) Brown; granddaughter, Hannah Brown; sisters, Linda Allender, Judi Gregory; as well as cousins,  Mike (Judy) Allender, Judy Ciccone, and David (Traci) Gregory.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Following John's wishes, no services will be observed at this time.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
