John R. Murphy, 67, passed away, December 18, 2025, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

John was born on September 3, 1958, in Pennsylvania, son of Patrick and Goldie Murphy.

He was a longtime resident of Rogers.

John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jeanne Peters Murphy; a son, Joseph Murphy of Leetonia and four grandchildren, Dalton, Tristan, Bryan and Gabrielle.

No services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
