East Palestine-

John F. Kubler, 83, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away July 23, 2023, at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

John was born April 28, 1940, in Salem, OH, son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Berry Kubler.

He was a 1958 graduate of East Palestine and a veteran of the US Army. John retired from the National Rubber Company and also worked for a number of years for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in the maintenance department caring for the church.

John is survived by a son, Joseph (Boonchoy) Kubler of Goldsboro, NC; two sisters, Eleanor (Charles) Hutchens of East Palestine, Patricia Ashbridge of Bucyrus, OH; a grandson as well as nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and will be announced soon. A private burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
