New Middletown-

JoAnn M. Mirone, 86, passed away July 12, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

She was born September 9, 1934 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of the late William and Margaret Telshaw Colby.

JoAnn was a faithful member of New Life Assembly of God in Poland and was active with their food ministry. She was an active member of the YMCA in Boardman for a number of years, but will most be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

JoAnn is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Mirone; daughter, Lynn (Steve) Terlecky of New Middletown; son, Dana (Debbie) Mirone of Poland; six grandchildren, Michael (Carlie), Rochelle (Mark), Anthony (Jessica), Dana Lynn (Jeff), Angela (Chris), Amanda (Dean); nine great grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Alyssa, Erika, Nicholas, Domenic, Bryson, Jaxson and Presley as well as a great great grandson, Wiley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Colby, Donny Colby; a sister, Evelyn Jean Beard and two great grandsons, Liam and Oliver.

Following JoAnn's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
