Joan Riehl, 88, a resident of Columbiana, OH, passed away January 14, 2024 at Hospice House with family by her side.

Joan was born April 24th, 1935, in Rogers, Oh, daughter of the late Clark and Mildred (Stayton) Gromley.

She was a graduate of Lisbon High School. Joan was co-owner, with her husband Elmer, of Riehl Farm Equipment for many years and was also a lifelong seamstress. Sewing was her passion, she worked at Toula's Bridal and Formal Wear in Canfield, and also out of her home. She won multiple awards at the Canfield Fair for her sewing and quilting.

Joan is survived by three children, Amy Riehl of Canfield, OH, Dale Riehl of Lisbon, OH and Bruce (Kay) Riehl of Columbiana, OH; grandchildren Jocelyne Jackson, Derrick Riehl and great grandchildren Sebastian and Nora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Riehl and three sisters; Lois Jones, Edna Wehr and Betty Hall.

Following Joan's wishes, no services will be observed. A private burial will be held at Crest Haven Memorial Garden in New Waterford, OH.
