Jerry Altenburg, 75, passed away December 19, 2022, at his niece's home in Rogers, where he resided.

Jerry was born November 6, 1947, in Beaver County, PA, son of the late Paul and Marie Crowl Altenburg.

He worked as a bridge builder in Florida for many years prior to retirement. He then moved to East Palestine to be closer to family and has been a resident for the past 20 years. He loved playing golf until his health no longer allowed it, he then enjoyed playing video golf. Jerry has enjoyed riding motorcycles most of his life.

Jerry is survived by two sisters, Linda Lee Fleischman and her boyfriend, Charlie Lee Hairhoger and Maryann Berresford as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Altenburg; five brothers, Richard "Punk" Altenburg, Roy "Butch" Altenburg, Don Altenburg, Otto "Junk" Altenburg, Denny Altenburg and two sisters, Penny Baker and Donna Steer.

Following Jerry's wishes, no services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
