Janet J. McElhaney, 88, a longtime resident of Rogers, passed away October 30, 2022 at the Calcutta Healthcare Center.

Janet was born January 17, 1934, in East Palestine, daughter of the late Nelson and Irene Warner Dugan.

She was a member of the Church of Christ by faith and worked as a homemaker raising her family.

Janet is survived by two sons, Edward (Karen) McElhaney of Parma, OH and Steven McElhaney of Rogers; daughter -in -law, Twyla McElhaney of Arkansas; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James, November 8, 1997; two sons, William and Philip McElhaney; two brothers, Bud and Paul Dugan and two sisters, Gretta Rizer and Loretta "Dutch" Falkner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday November 3, 2022, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place at a later date a Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
