East Palestine-

James L. Flowers, 72, passed away April 15, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman.

He was born January 23, 1953, in Salem, OH, son of the late Lavern and Mary Carter Flowers.

James was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. James worked at Fresh Mark in Salem as well as Jarrett Windows in East Palestine for a number of years prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed classic cars, the Cleveland Browns and spending time with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife of 28 years, Terri Moore Flowers; two sons, Jimmy (Pam) Flowers, Steve Flowers; a daughter, Lisa (Brian) Campbell; two stepsons, David (Carleen) Armintrout and Chris Armintrout; two brothers, Jeff (Linda) Flowers and John (Laurie) Flowers; a sister, Melody Flowers and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Flowers in 2002 and a sister, Mary Frances Flowers.

Following James' wishes, no services will be observed.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made to the funeral home to help defray cost.
