Austintown-

Jacqueline L. Baun, 84, a longtime Austintown resident, went to be with the Lord, on February 13, 2026, at the Shepherd of the Valley in Youngstown.

She was born May 27, 1941, in Youngstown, daughter of the late Robert Charles Russell and Roseanna (Finch) Russell.

Jacqueline was a longtime member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church and most recently Upper Room Ministries in Austintown. She was a soloist and enjoyed singing in both churches throughout the years. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary # 29 of the Army and Navy and served as their past state president from 1977-1978. Jacqueline was very family oriented and was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, William (Cindy) Baun of Austintown, Randi (Susie) Baun of Columbiana; nine grandchildren, Kathrine, Hollie, Michael, Jacob, Noah, Luke, Isaac, Abigail and Caleb as well as 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Russell Baun in 2009, a son in infancy, Gary Patrick Baun and a brother, Robert Russell.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Upper Room Ministries, 4009 Elmwood Ave, Austintown with Pastor Steve Zawilinsky officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM at the church.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Shepherd of the Valley for the care they showed to Jacqueline and ask that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers in her name to the Shepherds Foundation in c/o Shepherd of the Valley.
