East Palestine-

Iris L. Dubbert, 92, passed away September 4, 2025, at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehab, where she has resided for the past seven years.

She was born February 26, 1933, in Sioux City, Iowa, daughter of the late LuVerne and Geneva Oppedal Snyder.

Iris was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in East Palestine. She worked as a homemaker and waitressed for several local restaurants throughout the years. She enjoyed crocheting items for her family. Iris was a breast cancer survivor and was passionate about helping others by walking for awareness and donating to cancer societies.

Iris is survived by two sons, David (Robin) Dubbert of New Waterford, Steven (Mardy) Dubbert of East Palestine; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Norman Dubbert in 2002; two daughters, Karen Kennedy and Janet Barker and two grandchildren, Christopher and Dusty.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She will be laid to rest privately at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
