Helen M. McMillin, 93, a longtime resident of the area, passed away June 25, 2017 in Hodgenville, KY, where she resided with her daughter the past several years.

She was born September 8, 1923 in Enon Valley, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel Haskins Jackson.

Helen worked at Saw Recycle in administration for many years prior to retirement. She was an active member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine for many years. At age 89, she became a Grand Parent Volunteer at Hardin County Teen Court in Kentucky.

Helen is survived by a daughter; Kay (Jake) Jacobs of Hodgenville, KY.; a son, Glen (Karen) McMillin of Rogers; a daughter-in-law, Dee Fleischman of New Waterford; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William McMillin in 2001 as well as a son Robert Fleischman; two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 3rd at 12:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Jim Ostick officiating. A private interment will follow at the Glen View Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to the time of service.
