Hazel L. Todd, 92, of East Palestine, passed away 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Hospice House of Poland.

Hazel was born December 4, 1926 in Rogers, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary L. (Burson) Crowl and had been a life-long resident of East Palestine. She had worked as a rivet welder during WWII and later had worked at the East Palestine China and Maxwell China as well as Ben's Greenhouse.

She was Methodist by faith and enjoyed reading, watching birds and working in her flower gardens.

Her husband, Eugene Todd, whom she married February 28, 1948, preceded her in death on May 26, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Payne, a grandson, Sam Liberatore, seven brothers and three sisters.

Hazel is survived by two daughters, Kathy Liberatore of East Palestine and Cherie (Derek) Todd of Aurora, CO; five grandchildren, Gina, Tanya, Adam, Todd and Frederick; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

All services are private with a private burial in Glenview Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Hospice House of Poland for the wonderful care of their mother.
