East Palestine-

Gregory A. Doran, 55, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away February 5, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness.

Greg was born February 20, 1965 in Salem, OH, son of Kenneth and Beverly Watson Doran.

Greg was a graduate of East Palestine High School. He was employed with the International Union of Operating Engineers # 66, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of the East Palestine Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being around his family and friends grilling and telling stories.

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Shelley Doran; two sons, Broc (Anna) Doran of New Waterford, Joshua Doran of New Waterford; stepson, Ethan Kenny of New York; stepdaughters, Barbara Westcott, Katie (Joe) LaClaire and Megan Kenny all of New York; seven grandchildren, Caden, Madison and Owen Doran, William, Savannah, Vincent and Holland; mother, Beverly Doran; two brothers, Brian (Laura) Doran of New Middletown and Douglas Doran of East Palestine.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Doran.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
