Franklin, PA

Grant "Lenny" Laughren, Jr., 77 of Franklin, PA, formerly a longtime resident of Beaver County, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Franklin, PA.

Lenny was born June 30, 1941 in New Brighton, PA, son of the late Grant Laughren, Sr. and Elma Murray Laughren.

He worked as an Auto Body Technician prior to his retirement and was most proud of helping to paint cars for the Daytona 500 races. When not working, he enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.

Lenny is survived by three sons; Charlie Mullins of Freedom, PA, Sonny Laughren and Ricky Laughren both of New Brighton; daughter, Diane Smith of East Palestine; a brother, Donald Laughren of Winter Garden, FL; three sisters, Darlene (Theodore) Murphy of East Palestine, Rene (Jack) Patrisian of Las Vegas, NV, Sally Barker of Baden, PA as well as several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Barbara Tomlinson.
